Dragging to multiply item

If I cut out a part of a track and copy to a new track then when I pull from the right to multiply the item instead of the bit I cut out being copied the whole from where I cut it appears again. How do I do this right? I want to cut out a bar then use it elsewhere repeated.

First thing that comes to mind: - make sure you have SWS extensions installed; - Open Action list. - Do a search for "loop section of selected items" - You will see a search result: "SWS: Loop section of selected item(s). - Run that action. (for more convenience , assign it to a shortcut) Now you can loop the cut out item by dragging the right side of the item to the right.

I solved it. Select area, right click on it,copy loop of selected area, then when pasted can pull from the right to copy lots of the area selected.
