A bit of fun with new EDM song...

This song represents a few firsts for me. I wanted to learn how to use sampled sounds in Reaper. Until now, I've only used MIDI with patches from my Fantom, and for the latest 3 songs also using VSTs. I have to say, it's been fun looking for sounds and fitting them in, cutting WAV files from (free) libraries, adjusting pitch, stretching items, etc. It's my first EDM song (at least I think it is EDM, right?) - very different from my style. First time using samples - in fact, it's made almost entirely of samples, except the dulcitar, the synth and 808 bass sound at the beginning and the end of the song. Also the first time I've played a bit with ReaEQ and ReaVerb - never understood what they do and how they work before. Powerful stuff! And still lots to be discovered... So this is the song that evolved from the effort, and I have to humbly say that I quite like the end result - made me smile. What do you think? More like this? Or pack it in?

It's EDM, but I can hear samples. It doesn't sound really good in the mix. It's like you added different samples and there is no unity. You need to mix it more. :)
